Design & Construct Power Station Project
Location: Cooinda, Northern Territory
DeltaNAE recently completed a significant design and construction project at Cooinda Lodge, a prime location situated approximately 300 km southeast of Darwin within Kakadu National Park.
The project centered on the supply and installation of three CAT prime-powered diesel generators, delivering a combined 1.3 MVA of reliable power. The new power station was strategically constructed 0.6 km from the main resort area, running parallel to the airport. This purpose-built facility includes a main switchboard, a step-up transformer connected to an 11kV transmission line, a step-down transformer, and a Resort Distribution switchboard.
This project was driven by extensive stakeholder engagement, taking into account the client's cultural and maintenance requirements, as well as collaboration with specialized industry providers and subcontractors.
Standby Power Diesel Generator Installation
Location: Darwin, Northern Territory
DeltaNAE supplied and installed this Pramac GSW15P Diesel Generator with a Automatic Transfer Switch for 97.7FM Radio in Darwin. The project included site preparation with the installation of a concrete pad, followed by system testing and commissioning to ensure reliable backup power during outages. The generator was specifically sized to meet the station's power needs, ensuring seamless operation during power failures. This installation demonstrates DeltaNAE’s expertise in delivering dependable power solutions for commercial clients.
Refurbishment Project at Darwin Correctional Centre
Location: Darwin, Northern Territory
DeltaNAE completed a Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) refurbishment project at the Darwin Correctional Centre. Our team successfully retrofitted the synchronous machine (alternator/motor) on one of the four DRUPS units at Howard Springs, restoring the system to ensure continuous and reliable power for the facility.
